FU!TNF!

Otherwise known as Fuck You! That's Not Fair! is a show in development with the award winning Red Belly Black Theatre Company about injustice, how we respond to it and two weeks in 2017 that was not at all fair. 

Breakthrough

IT’S 1561 AND WOMAN ARE ABOUT TO STORM THE STAGE.

On the last day of lent, 1561, theatre in Europe is about to enter a golden age. But before this can happen, a taboo has to be busted. Women on stage. But were they already there?

The most popular form of theatre in the early renaissance age was Commedia dell’Arte, a highly stylised and physically acrobatic form of masked comic theatre. Then, literally overnight, instead of young men playing the female parts, women play these roles.

Breakthrough is about a moment when the masks come off.
